A RUSSIAN plane crashed earlier today killing all 71 on board including a five-year-old girl after the engine “exploded” in mid-air.
Two young children and 29-year-old air stewardess Anastasia Slavinskaya are among the victims named so far after the Saratov Airlines jet “broke apart in the sky”
The crash scattered debris and dead bodies over the Russian countryside, with dramatic pictures showing the mangled wreck of the plane. Horror images show charred wreckage of the plane lying in a snowy field near Moscow alongside baggage and body parts as rescuers described seeing bodies “everywhere”
The youngest victim has been named as five-year-old Nadezhda Krasova, who was killed alongside her mum Oksana Krasova, 32.

Second pilot Sergey Gambaryan, 34, (pictured) was also on the flight and died today.

An eyewitness called Alexey who saw the crash said;
‘I heard a noise… like a roar. It was quite unusual,’
‘You know, it sounds very strange when no one is around, when you hear such an unusual roar…
‘I put on my shoes and rushed outside.
‘And I saw…an explosion. So big, there was such a cloud.
‘Mushroom-shaped, like a nuclear explosion in miniature. The fragments were flying, burning.
‘One of them was flew right onto me.’
