Mel B Finally Gives Birth & It’s Another GIRL!

The former Spice Girl’s THIRD daughter arrived at 5am (PST) on Thursday, September 1!

Melanie Brown aka Mel B announced the happy news on Twitter, but not after dramatic photos hit the internet, showing her arriving at Cedar’s Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills, doubled over in pain and helped along by husband Stephen Belafonte and a bodyguard!

The 36-year-old tweeted on thursday evening, “Finally our baby arrives, Stephen nearly passed out, Phoenix screamed, I laughed so hard the baby popped out!!! She is just sooo amazing!!’
Her publicist later confirmed, ‘This evening Melanie Brown and husband Stephen Belafonte welcomed their new baby girl in Los Angeles. This is the first child for Mel and Stephen and both mum and baby are happy, healthy and doing well.”
There’s no news of a baby name, yet.

They baby didn’t arrive without a struggle. Just this week Mel shared her frustration with followers as she waited in vain for her baby to arrive.
She tweeted,”I’ve tried everything, I’ve tried the hot food, the running, the sex, the violence, I’ve tried it all. It just seems to be stuck and hibernating in there getting bigger and bigger, so it’s coming out this week for sure.”
Former Spice Girls bandmate Mel C was one of the first friends to congratulate her on the birth, hitting twitter to coo, “So so happy for my dear friend @OfficialMelB and @stephenthinks1 another girl #girlpower woo hoo! Congratulations x x x”
Mel already has two daughters; Phoenix Chi, 12, from her marriage to Jimmy Gulzar and Angel, 4, from her relationship with Eddie Murphy.
And the new arrival has already got a playmate in waiting — fellow Spice Girl victoria Beckham‘s newborn daughter Harper!
