Davido’s song ‘If’ is number one on Shazam charts In New York City that listeners in the United States city have searched for its identity.
It’s been over a year since its release, Davido’s 2017 monster single, ‘If’ sits above songs like Lil Wayne’s ‘Uproar’, Travis Scott’s ‘Sicko Mode’, ‘Backin It Up’ by Pardison Fontaine featuring Cardi B and Ella Mai’s ‘Trip’ on the Shazam charts as at Thursday, October 11, 2018.
Shazam is one of the most popular apps in the world, used by millions of music lovers each month to instantly identify a new song that is playing at the moment and also view what others are discovering. The app also provides details like the artist name and song title of the particular song playing at the time.
This makes Davido the first Nigerian artist ever to be number one on the charts in a US state.
