A Russian woman stabbed her husband 35 times in front of their 4-year old daughter because he criticized her cooking.

According to Daily Mail, 43-year-old Slava Davydkin complained that there was not enough salt in a dish his wife served when guests came to their house in Penza region.

His wife 31-year-old wife, Evgenia, waited until he was asleep and stabbed him to death at least 35 times in front of their four-year-old daughter.

The couple had quarreled after the Davydkin complained that his wife ‘did not love him’ because the dish she cooked for him and their guest was ‘bland’.

After their guests went to bed, the fight between the couple continued and Davydkin hit his wife, Evgenia.

Evgenia was provoked after the meal accompanied by the alcohol she took. She stabbed her sleeping husband at least 35 times. After that, she woke the male guest and asked him to call an ambulance.

Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

During the interrogation with the Russian Investigative Committee, the wife explained that this was not the first conflict in their family.

‘In her words, the spouse always acted as the initiator of the quarrels.’

Evgenia is under house arrest, however, local residents have criticized the decision to allow the confessed murderer to remain at home under house arrest looking after the child.
