Nigerian Actor Yomi Fabiyi has gone to the extent of the law and dug out some relatable legal decisions and advises on his colleague “Baba Ijesha” Rape Case to the Nigerian Police on how the ongoing Rape case of Baba Ijehsa should be handled.

On his (Yomi Fabiyi) Instagram he wrote:
Release BABA IJESHA on bail now!
It is against the law to hold any suspect down longer than allowed under our law without trial/bail for any bailable offense in Nigeria.
To continue holding his is against his FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS. It is INJUSTICE and abuse of power. Do not indulge in it.
No more police illegal detentions. Know your rights and fight for them.
It is illegal and against the law to deny anybody bail for any bailable offense in Nigeria.
It is gross human rights abuse and a tool for oppression for any other Nigerian no matter how highly placed to give such an order to detain indefinitely except a seating judge.
If you can’t be honest to peacefully protest against such injustice, any state that indulges such is inciting violence.
