A councillor in Sokoto has given two mats to his people.

A councilor, Hon. Aliyu Garba has reportedly donated two floor mats to his constituency members in Sadada community, Kebbe Local Government Area of Sokoto State.

A Facebook user, Ahmadu Nda Jibrin, who disclosed this on his page, said Garba shared the two mats to his constituency members in order to appreciate them for electing him as councilor.

While presenting the welfare package, the councilor posed for pictures with his benefactors who expressed their joy and gratitude over the gift they received from the LGA.

Jibrin wrote: “A councillor in Sokoto state has given two tabarma aid to his people.

“The councilor of Kebbe East Hon. Aliyu Garba has shared two taboos to the people of Sadada town in his effort to please the people of the town that elected him as councilor.

“On the occasion of the graduation ceremony, the people of Sadada town expressed their joy to receive this gift from the councilor.”
