Ebere Obiano Speaks On Her Fight With Bianca Ojukwu

KanyiDaily had reported how Ebere and Bianca engaged each other in a messy fight on Thursday, March 17, during the inauguration of the newly elected governor of Anambra state, Charles Chukwuma Soludo.

Reacting in a statement issued by her spokesperson, Chidiebele Obika, the former first lady said she had left her seat to greet Bianca, but the latter reacted to her greeting with a slap.

Obiano’s wife explained that all she did was to approach the former beauty queen for their usual friendly banters only to be slapped and pushed by her.

She wondered what brought about “so much anger and hate” that would cause a former diplomat to be unable to “manage herself in public”.

Ebere stated that she didn’t bother returning the slap, instead, she walked away in utter bewilderment, wondering what could lead to such a show of shame.

This is contrary to Bianca Ojukwu’s explanation that she slapped Ebele because she verbally attacked her and attempted to remove her (Bianca’s) headtie, an act she considered “a sacrilege to a titled matriarch such as myself in Igbo culture”.

Bianca noted that the former first lady was “clearly intoxicated with whiskey” when the latter attacked her at the inauguration before Victor Umeh restrained the both of them.

KanyiDaily recalls that the former APGA chairman, Victor Umeh had confirmed that Bianca narrated what truly happened between her and Ebere because they were all there at the event.
