A female student of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Becky Inuwa has regained her freedom after spending a year and six months in the captivity of the Boko Haram terrorist group.

Her coursemate, Godwin Tanko made the announcement on his Instagram page, saying the female student was rescued by men of the Nigerian Army.

Sharing a photo picture of Inuwa, he wrote; “Today I’m celebrating life, I’ve shed tears of joy for this news, this is my coursemate in ABU, Becky Inuwa who was abducted by Boko Haram terrorists for over 1½ years but has been rescued by our great Nigerian Army”.
