Police Arrests 15-Year-Old Boy For Allegedly Having Sεx With Two Children In Rivers

Rivers State Police Command has arrested a 15-year-old boy simply identified as Promise for allegedly sodomizing two children in Rumuodara in the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state.

It was gathered that Promise had anal sεx with the two victims, aged six and two, who lived in the same compound with them.

The mother of two boys, Mrs Pius, said she discovered that the children were defiled when she noticed one of them bleeding from the anus

While interrogating them, the woman said the older child told her that the suspect threatened to kill him if he reported to anyone.

The Executive Director of a non-governmental organization, Youths and Environmental Advocacy Centre, Dumnamene Fyneface, told PUNCH on Thursday that the group would get justice for the children.

“We will give the police the necessary support to prosecute the matter,” he added.

When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the incident, saying the case was under investigation.

“Yes, the boy has been arrested and the matter transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department,” she added.
