The Lagos Police Command has arrested two suspected cultists with locally made firearms.

This was disclosed in a tweet by the spokesman of the command, Benjamin Hundeyin on Tuesday afternoon.
He said the two men were nabbed after operatives of the Ajah division responded swiftly to a distress call from Sangotedo that cultists were on a rampage.
According to him, the duo is currently assisting the police with ongoing investigations.
He wrote, “Men of Ajah Division responded swiftly to a distress call from Sangotedo that cultists were on a rampage. These two were arrested with locally made firearms.
“They are currently assisting with ongoing investigations.”

Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported how 11 suspected cultists were arrested while they were preparing for an attack in Ogun state.
