Aliyu Oroje Wammako, head of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria and a football lover, made the commitment when he visited the team at their Hyatt Park Hotel base in Mendoza.

Wammako also promised the players and their officials that they would be well compensated even if they won the competition.

The Flying Eagles began their campaign with a 2-1 victory over the Dominican Republic on Sunday.

On Saturday, the Nigerian boys will face Brazil in their final group encounter.

The Flying Eagles have previously advanced to the competition’s finals.
