Toke Makinwa, a media celebrity, has requested God to ease up on the testing because she has seen’shege,’ which may be loosely translated as disappointment.
She made the request after reposting a scene from the film Evan Almighty in which Morgan Freeman, who played God, encourages a woman and offers her advice on life and prayer.

“Permit me to ask you a question. Do you believe God grants patience to those who pray for it? Or does he give them the option of being patient? “Does God give them courage when they pray for it, or does he give them opportunities to be courageous?” In the video, Freeman says.
Toke commented on the video, saying, “Hey God, please ease up on the tests.” Some of us are blind to shege. Please just grant us what we want of the Lord.”
