Seyi Awolowo, a Naija All Stars housemate, has lamented the way women present themselves nowadays.
He called the way women present themselves these days “scary.”
Seyi bemoaned this on Pulse’s One On One, which was hosted by former reality star Christy O.
“I’m old school,” he explained. My generation’s mothers raised me differently than today’s mothers. So, just to be clear, I will surely have an opinion in that direction. When I was younger, my mother would conduct extended discussions with me using only her eyes. My aunts, too. I grew up with a lot of women, therefore I was socialized to see women like that.
“The way women [are] beginning to portray themselves these days is scary. I mean this new era. And I’m trying to get used to this new era which is the reason why I am being labelled with these hash words. Word that will make me toxic to other brands.”
