Shooting Stars GM has debunked allegations of mismanagement

Dimeji Lawal, the General Manager of the Shooting Stars, has called the allegations of mismanagement brought against him “false and malicious.”

The former Super Eagles player made the clarification during a press conference at the club’s headquarters in Ibadan.

Lawal stated that all of the accusations brought against him and the administration as a whole were absolutely unjustified and false.

He claimed it was an intentional attempt to blackmail his club reputation.

“All the allegations are false and baseless, it’s just a ploy to distract the team’s preparation for the new Nigeria Premier Football League season,” he told the club’s media.

“Even when we go outside the state for matches, I do buy jerseys to take along because people do ask for our jerseys and it is part of PR.”
