The crossdresser, who was sentenced to six months in prison, regained his freedom after over four months in jail.
In a now-viral video on Monday morning, August 5, Bobrisky was seen leaving the prison in a luxury car with two of her friends.
The social media celebrity was arrested and convicted in March after he was charged by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on four counts related to naira abuse.
Bobrisky, whose real name is Idris Okuneye, was sentenced to six months in prison on April 12 by Lagos high court judge Abimbola Awogboro for abusing the naira.
The judge also ruled that there would be no option for a fine, and the jail term began on March 24, the day of Bobrisky’s arrest.
KanyiDaily recalls that Bobrisky had challenged the six-month imprisonment handed to him, saying it should be replaced with a fine of N200,000.
