Dangote Petroleum Refinery has once again reduced the price of petrol at its gantry, dropping it from ₦835 to ₦825 per litre.
This move comes as local market competition continues to grow.
Just last month, Dangote refinery, which has a capacity of 650,000 barrels per day, had cut the gantry price from ₦865 to ₦835 per litre.
According to Vanguard, this latest price cut is aimed at offering better value to customers and strengthening the refinery’s position as a key player in Nigeria’s fuel market.
The new price is also expected to affect pump prices at filling stations that have special supply deals with the refinery.
KanyiDaily recalls that Dangote Refinery is set to stop supplying petroleum products to the Nigerian market due to delays in renegotiating the naira-for-crude agreement.
