The announcement came from Biggie on Thursday following an emergency gathering in the main lounge, where Faith was told to pack up and leave immediately.
The disqualification stemmed from a heated clash during a rehearsal for a group skincare task, which left Sultana nursing a twisted ankle.
Trouble started when Sultana accused Faith of being overbearing and trying to take charge of the activity, even though it had nothing to do with his medical background.
The disagreement quickly spiraled, and in the middle of it, Faith yanked a basket of the group’s materials. This move caused Sultana to trip and fall, injuring her ankle and hurting her hand as well.
Another housemate, Kaybobo, tried to step in by taking the basket from Faith, but the tension didn’t die down. Sultana later insisted she could no longer work with him on the same team.
According to the show’s management, Faith’s actions went against the rules of the house, which strictly prohibit violence of any kind. Such behaviour can result in strikes or, in serious cases like this, outright disqualification.
Faith’s exit adds to the list of notable disqualifications in the show’s history. His removal is also one of the key disciplinary highlights of this year’s “10/10” season.
The BBNaija rule book, Article 18, subsection one, makes it clear that physical aggression, provocation, intimidation, bullying, or any form of violence is not tolerated. Big Brother holds full authority to enforce punishments when such rules are broken.
KanyiDaily recalls that the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season 10 kicked off on July 26, and the winner will walk away with N150 million, the biggest cash prize the show has offered since it first began in 2006.
