In a video circulating on social media, Elliot could be seen rejoicing with his supporters as they celebrated his win in Surulere, chanting in Yourba that “they voted and won”.
Elliot appreciated Femi Gbajabiamila, the speaker of the house of representatives, for his support towards a successful outing in the state assembly election in Surulere.
He said, “Many many many thanks to my Father, mentor, leader and speaker of the nation @speakergbaja Rep Femi Gbajabiamila. Thank you boss. Most grateful. @olanrewaju_smart thank you dear brother”.
KanyiDaily recalls that Desmond Elliot had recently condemned the senseless attack on his opponent, Olumide Oworu, in the Surulere area of Lagos State.
