Actor Jerry Williams Reportedly Arrested By Police In Edo

Nollywood actor, Jerry Williams has reportedly been arrested by police in Edo State.

Filmmaker Stanley Ontop, who disclosed this on social media, said the arrest happened on Monday, July 21, 2025, at the actor’s apartment.

He claimed the operation was allegedly led by someone identified as Nwafor Franklin, also known as Izutech.

Stanley stated that when he arrived at Jerry’s home, the actor had already been taken, and efforts to chase after the vehicle were unsuccessful.

“Before I reached Jerry’s apartment, they had already left.I chased them with my car yet, I didn’t see them,” he shared.

Stanley Ontop also warned that if anything happens to Jerry Williams, Izutech should be held responsible.

KanyiDaily recalls that in 2023, Jerry Williams voluntarily admitted himself to a rehab facility for drug addiction following his suspension from acting by the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).
