Akon Announces Finalization Of Agreement To Build His Own City In Senegal Called ‘Akon City’

American music superstar of Senegalese descent, Akon has announced on Monday that he has finalized an agreement for the establishment of ‘Akon City‘ in Senegal.

Akon, who shared a photo from the deal-finalizing moment on his Instagram page, told fans that he was looking forward to hosting them there in the future.

“Just finalised the agreement for Akon City in Senegal. Looking forward to hosting you there in the future,” he wrote.

KanyiDaily recalls that during an interview with Nick Cannon of Power 106 FM, Akon disclosed that he started building the city since March 2019 and he expects it to be completed in 10-Years time.

Additionally, the rapper stated that he will use his cryptocurrency, ‘AKoin’ to build the city’s economy and the whole city will have its own airport for people to fly in and out.
