Nse Ikpe-Etim Responds To Losing AMVCA Award To Osas Ighodaro with Laugh Emoji

The Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards is a night of celebrations for some of Nollywood’s best and brightest stars. However, for some stars like Nse Ikpe-Etim, it’s all gloom.

AMVCA is an annual event organized by MultiChoice to recognize outstanding achievements in television and film. It’s the only event that the entertainment industry looks forward to and this year’s edition delivered memorable fashion moments as Nigeria’s brightest stars hit the black carpet glammed up in their most captivating looks.

Veteran actress Nse Ikpe-Etim has raised some eyebrows with her reaction to not winning the best Actress in a Drama Movie or TV Series.

Nse was nominated for her resilient character in Shanty Town, a Netflix Original series.

She was nominated alongside Shanty Town co-star Ini Edo.

Bimobo Ademoye was a strong contender for her starting role in Anikulapo, but it was Osas Ighodaro who walked away with the trophy for her role in ”Man of God” also owned by Netflix.

A few minutes after Osas gave her acceptance speech, Nse Ikpe-Etim tweeted a single laugh emoji which has already started generating the reaction you’d expect.
