Bola Tinubu Receives Guinea Bissau’s President, Sissoco Embaló in Lagos [Photos]

President of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló paid a private visit to his Nigerian counterpart, Bola Tinubu in Lagos State.

Umaro Sissoco Embaló, who is Chairman of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government, visited Tinubu on Saturday in his at his private residence in Lagos State.

The visit took place at Tinubu’s private residence in Lagos State, making President Embaló the first president to visit Tinubu since his inauguration as Nigeria’s president on May 29, 2023.

The Guinea-Bissau leader thus became the first president to visit the former Lagos governor who was sworn in as Nigeria’s president on May 29, 2023.

The details of the discussions held during the visit were not disclosed, but  Tinuu has been in Lagos since Tuesday when he returned from a private visit to London ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
