KanyiDaily recalls that Davido has faced widespread criticism from Muslims after he took to his Twitter page and shared a music video for a song titled “Jaye Lo” by his signee, Logos Olori.
In a post shared on his Instagram story, Isreal DMW clarified that the video in question was intended purely for entertainment purposes and was mistakenly misinterpreted.
Pleading on behalf of Davido, Isreal emphasized how much the singer enjoys helping and uplifting people, which has become a significant aspect of his character.
With genuine affection for the Muslim community, Davido’s aide expressed his love for them and asked for their understanding and forgiveness.
He wrote, “Let me specially apologize to my Muslim brothers and sisters, on the video my Oga posted, as a result of him wanting to lift somebody, which is one of his hubbies. It was purely an entertainment effort wrongly presented. Make una no vex. Love you all”.
KanyiDaily recalls that Davido recently bowed to pressure following criticism from the Muslim community by removing the controversial music video released by Logos Olori.
