Omokri, known for his thought-provoking and controversial tweets took to his official handle on Wednesday to also highlight the effect of praying at such time.
According to him, everyone should pray immediately after they wake up from sleep.
He argued that when one wakes up, such a person is in a stage called the Theta state, which is a realm in between the spiritual and physical planes.
“During Theta, your spirit man is more powerful and alert,” Omokri wrote.
“If you even try to speak during the Theta stage, you will notice hie much deeper your voice is.
“Your prayers are most powerful when you are in that state. But if you reach for your phone, talk to someone, or do anything quotidian or carbon, you IMMEDIATELY snap out of Theta state and lose the spiritual momentum it would have given you.”
