Nigerian UFC star, Usman wins Collier in Vegas

Mohammed Usman, a professional mixed martial artist (MMA) from Nigeria, defeated Jake Collier in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Fight Night event in Las Vegas to make his long-awaited comeback to the Octagon.

Mohammed Usman, Kamoru’s younger brother, made his UFC comeback against Jake Collier on UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas late on September 24 as a stand-in for Valter Walker.

After three intense rounds of competition, Usman overcame Collier by unanimous decision. Usman won the fight with scores of 29-28, 30-27, and 29-28 from the three judges.

Usman said after a significant victory over Jake Collier that he was aware it wouldn’t be an easy one.
