Rema, Asake, Burna Boy Wins Big At 2023 Headies Award Winners [Full List]

The 16th edition of the Headies Award took place in Atlanta, Georgia, for the second consecutive year on Sunday, September 3, 2023.

During this event, Rema emerged as the standout artist, securing three awards for Best Male Artist, African Artist of the Year, and Digital Artist of the Year.

Aremu Olaiwola Qudus, also known as Director K, received the award for Best Video Director for his work on a music video.

Asake celebrated multiple wins, with the Next Rated Artist accolade and his album ‘Mr. Money With The Vibez’ being recognized as Album of the Year.

Burna Boy’s track ‘Last Last’ was honored with the titles of Afrobeats Single of the Year and Song of the Year.

In the category of Rap Single of the Year, OdumoduBLVCK clinched the award with Declan Rice. SeyiVibes also achieved recognition on the honors list.

Since its establishment in 2006, the Headies has played a pivotal role in documenting the achievements within the Nigerian music industry through its prestigious awards, which have now become the most coveted prizes in Nigerian music.`
