“You Signed Me With No Money And Accommodation” – Idowest Slams Dammy Krane [Video]

Nigerian rapper, Idowest has criticized his colleague and former boss, Dammy Krane for lack of financial support and accommodation when he signed him to his record label.

The dispute stems from Dammy Krane’s previous statement in September, where he claimed that Idowest left his record label after achieving success under his guidance.

In a recent video, Idowest countered Dammy Krane’s narrative, claiming that he faced financial instability and lacked accommodation while signed to the music label.

He expressed frustration that despite being signed, he still had to commute between Lagos Island and other locations, highlighting the challenges he faced without proper support.

Idowest questioned the practicality of signing an artist without providing essential support, such as accommodation.

He further urged Dammy Krane not to make false claims about signing him without providing the necessary resources.

“Nobody fine pass anybody, nobody get two heads. If anybody mention my name I go mention their name, I go even mention their papa and mama name,” he said in pidgin English.

“You dey tell me say you sign me. Wetin you do for me when you sign me? You sign me with no money, no accommodation, no wire, no light.

“No information, no payment, no sleep, no BOA, no west cargo, no capital A. You are now saying you signed me. What did you sign me with?

“You signed me but I still dey go Lagos Island dey come back. At least even if you sign artiste from ghetto, you no go collect house for am?

“Where your artiste want dey sleep? How your artiste want sing when your artiste no dey 100% stable, when he no get rest of mind. Dammy no go dey talk say you sign me. No dey talk rubbish”.

Born Jimoh Idowu, the rapper became associated with the local music group MAFIA Gang in Lagos Island before signing with Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) in 2018.

KanyiDaily recalls that Dammy Krane recently stated that he did not initiate legal action against Idowest because he saw giving him a platform as a “help.”
