BBNaija’s Princess Recounts How Her Range Rover Was Stolen By Restaurant Staff In Abuja [Video]

Big Brother Naija reality star, Princess Onyejekwe has recounted how her Range Rover SUV was stolen from a Chinese restaurant in the Maitama district of Abuja.

In a video shared on her Instagram page, Princess revealed that on November 28, 2023, after finishing work, she visited the restaurant within a hotel for dinner.

Upon completing her meal, the BBNaija star intended to take the leftovers home, but when it was time to depart, she realized her car key was missing.

Despite an exhaustive search, including emptying her bag and checking the immediate vicinity, Princess said she never found the key.

The reality star said she brought the matter to the attention of the restaurant managers, who expressed apologies.

Faced with the dilemma of the missing key, she temporarily left her car near the security post and sought a spare key.

Princess said she returned the next day and discovered that her car was no longer in the parking lot in the restaurant.

The security personnel informed her that they saw someone driving away with her Range Rover the following morning.

To her dismay, the hotel managers claimed she had only reported a missing key and failed to inform them about leaving her car behind.

Adding to the perplexity, the BBNaija star said they claimed  that there was no CCTV footage available for the hotel entrance.

Fortunately, the thieves were apprehended, and it was discovered that one of the suspects was an employee at the hotel.

Although Princess’s Range Rover was recovered, it had suffered vandalism.

Expressing her frustration, she said, “Bad things have been happening. My car got stolen specifically on the 28th of November. I went to a restaurant in Maitama, Abuja at Lake Chad Crescent. Coming from my office. I got there at 7:10 pm.”

She further shared her disappointment at the treatment she received, feeling accused of irresponsibility and foolishness by the restaurant staff.

The saddest part of it all was how they treated me at that place. They told me my car was there overnight. They made me feel irresponsible and stupiid,” Princess added.
