Luka was accused of rape by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC), in violation of Section 258 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law
The presiding judge, Samson Kwasu, refused to accept Luka’s plea due to the court’s lack of jurisdiction to handle the case.
Kwasu directed the prosecutor to send duplicate copies of the case file to the State Director of Public Prosecution for legal advice.
The case has been adjourned until February 29 for further proceedings.
Earlier, NSCDC prosecutor Marcus Audu informed the court that the girl’s father, Nazareth Dauda, reported the incident to the corps’ office in Kafanchan on January 30.
Audu stated that Luka had enticed the complainant’s daughter into his room at Unguwar Rimi Bajju and sexually assaulted her.
He said that the minor was brought to the Salama Sexual Referral Centre in Kafanchan, and the case was then referred to the corps for investigation.
