He warned that unless President Tinubu takes decisive action to address the ongoing turmoil, an economic crisis looms ahead.
In a statement endorsed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele underscored that failure to act promptly could result in the Nigerian economy remaining unstable until 2026.
He recommended that the government prioritize security, reduce the prices of food items, ensure adequate electricity supply, and promote locally made products.
These measures, he suggested, would help stabilize the exchange rate of the dollar and alleviate the burdens faced by Nigerians
The man of God disclosed that the measures implemented by the administration would not assist the country but would instead lead to more inflation.
According to Ayodele: ‘’If Tinubu’s government doesn’t do the needful, the economy will not balance till 2026.
“They need to put security in place, reduce the prices of food commodities, provide enough electricity and promote local products. This will help the government and will crash the dollars
“All these measures they are taking will not work; it will just lead to inflation. If they don’t do the right thing, Nigeria will buy dollars for N1,700, a bag of rice will cost N90,000 and it will kill the economy. They don’t seem to have ideas will not help the situation.’’
