KanyiDaily recalls that Bobrisky was recently sentenced to six months in prison for abusing the naira, without the option of a fine.
Reacting on its Twitter page, the EFCC emphasized that if educational campaigns fail to convey the message, legal action will be taken.
In a thinly veiled reference to Bobrisky’s sentencing, the EFCC urged those who are in doubt to get ‘update to use’ from convicted crossdresser.
The EFCC warned that people who persist in abusing the naira will face consequences when confronted by the agency.
The post reads, “Say no to abuse of the Naira.
“If preaching will not send the message, a conviction will.
“Na our Naira you dey abuse. Change your ways, you refuse. When the EFCC comes to accuse, know say you no go get Excuse.
“Ask Bob for the update to Use”.
