MultiChoice has appointed Mr. John Ugbe, a Nigerian, as Managing Director of MultiChoice Nigeria, effective from November 2011.

Ugbe’s appointment marks the first time a Nigerian will head the company in 17 years.
Chairman
of MultiChoice Nigeria, Adewunmi Ogunsanya, described Ugbe as an
experienced executive who will be able to lead the company into a new
period of growth and expansion.

Ugbe’s appointment follows the resignation of Joseph Hundah who has left MultiChoice to follow other business interests.

“We
would like you to extend a warm welcome to John in his new position as

motivational leader and we believe he will create a culture of
excellence in the Nigerian business which will ignite new passion and
