Justice Yetunde Idowu of the Ikeja High Court, Thursday, asked the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, to pay Nigerian comedy actor, Babatunde Omidina, commonly called Baba Suwe, N25 million as compensation for unlawful detention and breach of his human right.
Baba Suwe who was granted bail November 4, had gone to court to seek redress over an alleged suspicion of ingesting substances believed to be hard drug and detention in the custody of NDLEA for 24 days.
Justice Idowu also asked the NDLEA to publicly apologise to the comedian through two national dailies within 21 days.
