MASSOB in Ebonyi State yesterday gave armed robbers, kidnappers and rapists in Ebonyi State 48 hours to leave the state or face the consequences as it has deployed their men in strategic positions for the security of lives and property in the state.
The Ebonyi Regional Administrator, Mr. Ogbaegbe Amaechi made the declaration in Abakaliki during an extra-ordinary rally, organized by the movement in which he lamented that security in the state has become worse and the organization has found it necessary to come to the rescue.
"This is because it is our top priority as freedom fighters to take absolute care of the people we are fighting for their justice, equity and freedom.
"I hereby give them (criminals, kidnappers, rapists, and other hoodlums) an ultimatum of 48 hours to peacefully vacate Ebonyi State or be prepared to reap the fruits of their labour as their days are numbered."
While commending the government of Ebonyi State for playing commendable role in providing security, he added that MASSOB has deployed its security and intelligence agencies to strategic positions across the state to perform its legitimate responsibility in the collective resolve to assist the government in its search for lasting solution to insecurity in the state.
Amaechi warned those who use Biafran logo such as flag, MASSOB ID cards amongst others to persecute, intimidate and perpetrate all forms of evil against their fellow human beings in the name MASSOB to desist from such acts, because the organization has resolved to bring such individuals to book."
The indestructible spirit of the late Biafran heroes would soon fish you saboteurs out as usual to face judgment even as I am pleading with the general public to assist us with all necessary information.
