According to RayPower FM on the kidnap of Kehinde Bamigbetan, Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area: The kidnappers have been in touch with Bamigbetan’s family and demanded $1 million (about N160 million) as ransom.
A purported victim of the kidnapping gang was dropped off at the spot where Bamigbetan was abducted. He claimed to have been in the kidnappers’ den in the last four days and his family paid N400,000 for his release. But police are suspecting the so-called victim might be part of the plot.
