Kim posted a photo of herself Monday holding the prescription drug Diclegis, a reformulated version of a pill pulled from shelves in the 1980s after widespread fears that it may have caused birth defects emerged.
While those fears have been debunked according to the drug’s maker and the FDA, which approved the new version in 2013, some moms on social media have assailed the reality star for choosing to shill the pill.
While Kim may be in line with laws governing such endorsements, her Instagram post is rife with angry detractors who call the expecting mother unethical or worse.
