Three Young Girls Fights Publicly Over A Lover Boy In The Street Of Lagos, Breasts Slashed With Razor Blade

This is something the law should begin to consider banning. Where people choose to fight publicly with shame exposing themselves before the whole world to see.

Three teenagers between the ages of 16 and 17 got themselves involved in a messy public fight over a lover which resulted in one of them being marked and injured with a razor blade in Iju area of Lagos where they reside.

The police have arrested two of the teenagers namely, Sonia Ahiwe, 16 and Nita Alele, 17 and charged them to court for conspiracy and assault on the victim simply known as Olayinka.

It was gathered that the Olayinka allegedly snatched an undisclosed teenage boy they had dated in the past after she met the boy. That caused serious quarrel and later resulted in them fighting publicly on the street.

During the messy fight, Sonia and Nita joined hands, attacked and used a razor blade to slice Olayinka on her breasts and other parts of her body. She was said to have bled profusely and was rushed to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.

The assault was reported at the Iju Police Division; Sonia and Nita were arrested and detained at the police station for interrogation.

During the interrogation, the DPO was very angry with Sonia and Nita for engaging in such a fight and using a weapon like razor blade at their tender ages. So he directed the IPO to charge the matter to court and they were arraigned before the Ogba Magistrates court for the alleged assault.

The defendants were taken to Court Four where they were arraigned and remanded in custody after they were granted bail.

They will face trial for the offense they had committed despite their age and maybe jailed accordingly if they were tried and found guilty.
