”I Have Never Collected A Dime From Any Of My Artists” – Davido

Top music star, Davido said he has never received a dime from the money made by the artists signed to his record label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW).

The DMW Boss made this know during an open question and answer session with his fans on Twitter (#AskDavido) on Wednesday, January 9, 2018.

Responding to a fan who asked him if it’s true he gives his signed artistes more benefit than what is in their contract, Davido explained:

”I HAVE NEVER COLLECTED A DIME FROM ANY OF MY ARTIST EVEN THO THEY R UNDER CONTRACT.. I don’t need the money I’d rather them use it to invest in themselves.”

This is the first time that he has publicly spoken on how finances are handled with the label which houses a number of notable names like Mayorkun, Peruzzi, Dremo, Idowest, Sinzu and more.
