Controversial Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye, has spoken again from his hideout that the rulers of Nigeria have set themselves against the Lord’s anointed.
This is coming after the Senator compared himself and his challenges to the biblical Prophet Elijah, and maintained that he will continue to remain in his hideout because there is a difference with being scared and being wise.
Speaking in a video record from his hideout, Dino Melaye said:
“The rulers of Nigeria have set themselves against the Lord’s anointed. They depend on chariots , horses, power, authority , position and guns but I come onto them in the name of Jehovah, the Lord God of Host. I trust Him it is well, it is well”
Dino Melaye has been on the run from the Nigerian Police ever since on December 28, 2018, that he cried out to the general public that the Police invaded his Abuja residence at Number 11 Sangha street, off Mississippi, Maitama.
According to them, Melaye alongside his ‘armed thugs’ shot one Sergeant Danjuma Saliu, attached to 37 Police Mobile Force who was on duty at a stop and search point along Aiyetoro Gbede, Mopa Road in Kogi State on July 19, 2018.
In an interview with Channels TV on Saturday, December 29th, Melaye said he’s not in Abuja at the moment and would make himself available to the police once he returns.
However, on Tuesday evening, January 1st, 2018, rather than debunk or admit the allegations made by the police, the Senator compared his challenges to that of Prophet Elijah in the Bible and maintained that he will continue to remain in his hideout.
