Man Stabbed To Death By Knife Wielding Thugs At INEC Office In Rivers [Photo]

A young man was stabbed to death by knife-wielding thugs at the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Akinima area of Rivers State.

It was gathered that the in the wee hours of Saturday, March 9, 2019, a group of thugs allegedly invaded the INEC office in Akinima the Ahoada West Council Headquarters.

The thugs had invaded the INEC office – barring political party agents from gaining access to the facility on the alleged orders from a politician who had taken over the office as early as 10 am Friday to allegedly compromise the electoral officers, hijack electoral materials.

The invasion led to the death of the deceased.
