A police officer identified as Steven has landed himself in serious trouble after physically assaulting a woman openly for refusing his love advances in Delta State.
According to reports, the police officer had on yesterday night approached a girl at Urhobo Road by McPherson Junction and asked her out.
The girl who was on an errand for her sister, refused the advances made by the police officer.

The police officer went as far as trying to hold the girl’s hand. But the girl couldn’t have it as she quickly restrained him from holding her hand.
Out of annoyance, the police officer began beating the girl in front of people, and those who tried helping the girl were beaten as well.
When things were about to get out of hand, the police officer brought out gun and shot in the air before entering his motorcycle and zooming off.
The case was later taken to the Main Station police station where the DPO ordered that the police officer should be detained. It was at that moment that the officer began begging for help.
