“209 In Lagos, 67 In Oyo” – Nigeria Confirms 452 New Cases Of Coronavirus As Total Hits 21,371

Nigeria has recorded eight new COVID-19 deaths and 452 fresh cases in the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 452 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 21,371.

In a tweet on Tuesday night, NCDC said Lagos leads other states with 209 new cases of COVID-19, followed by Oyo with 67 cases, Delta with 37 cases, Ogun recorded 36 cases, Abia (20), Enugu (16), Bauchi (15).

Meanwhile, Kaduna and Ondo recorded 8 cases respectively, Osun (7) with Benue and Imo each recording (3) cases. While the FCT has 22 cases, Borno, however, has the least figure with just 1 case.

The NCDC also said that the number of fatalities has risen to 533 after recording 8 new deaths, while 7,338 people have been discharged from the isolation centres after full recovery.
