Former officers of the now-defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigerian Police Force, are allegedly kidnapping residents of Ojuelegba, Shomolu, Pedro, Yaba and Surulere In Lagos State.
Reports circulating on the social media indicates that former SARS officers are breaking into homes and taking people away to an unknown destination in the middle of the night.
This coming amidst the ongoing nationwide protest against the now-dissolved SARS tactical unit of the Nigerian Police Force over its brutality, illegal arrest, extortion, extra-judicial killings, among others.
