A former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Babangida Nguroje, has lost two of his sisters, Zainab and Hajiya Hadiza, in a road accident while travelling from Yola to Abuja.
Hadiza’s husband and their four kids also died in the ghastly road accident which occurred along Akwanga-Keffi Road around 8pm on Saturday night with the car going up in flames.
Reacting in a statement issued by his Spokesman, Garba Shehu, on Sunday, President Muhammadu Buhari sent his condolences Babangida and prayed to Allah comfort those they left behind.
Buhari said “I am lost for words to describe such multiple deaths in a single car accident in which family members perished.”
“I received the news of this tragedy with deep shock and grief, and wish to express my heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with you at this trying and painful moment.”
The President prayed to Allah to forgive the gentle souls of the deceased persons and comfort those they have left behind.
KanyiDaily recalls that President Buhari had also commiserated with a former Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba, over the death of his wife, Amaka, who died in an auto crash on Friday.
