Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has criticized President Muhammadu Buhari for neglecting the Southern part of the country since he assumed his second term.
In a post shared on his Twitter page, Omokri wondered why Buhari has not visited the Southern part of Nigeria since he assumed his second term in 2015.
According to him, the president only shuttles from Northern Nigeria to London and finds it hard to visit the southern part of the country.
“Since he was sworn in for a second term, had General @MBuhari visited Southern Nigeria?
“Not to my knowledge. Correct me if I’m wrong. He shuttles between London and Northern Nigeria. Why is Southern Nigeria a no go area for Buhari? Is this how to govern a nation?,” Omokri tweeted.
KanyiDaiky recalls that the Southern Governors had recently urged President Buhari to address Nigerians on the challenges of insecurity in the country.
