Queen Naomi Silekunola, the estranged wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has reportedly returned to the palace a few days after she announced their divorce.

KanyiDaily recalls that Queen Naomi had taken to her Instagram page to announce the end of her three-year-old marriage with the Ooni on December 23, 2021.

The mother of one, who is a prophetess, disclosed that she tried to make their marriage work but the monarch’s public identity is clashing with his true self.

An unconfirmed report indicates that the queen has finally changed her mind and returned to the palace after so much pleading from the elders of the palace and Akure.

Sharing a short video of her alleged return, the palace town crier wrote: “Queen Silekunola Ogunwusi returns to the palace after plenty pleas from the palace and elders from Akure and Ife met, Side piece in the mud ooooo Olori Farampon won’t like this ooo”

KanyiDaily recalls that the Ooni of Ife had earlier broken his silence amidst the divorce saga to advise everyone to “reach out to neighbours, especially those who haven’t had it as easy through the year”.
