Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has reacted to the presidential ambition of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, who recently declared his interest to contest for presidency in 2023.
KanyiDaily recalls that Tinubu had recently declared his interest to join the 2023 presidential race, saying he will continue from where President Muhammadu Buhari stopped.
Reacting to the comment, Ortom urged Nigerians to vote against Tinubu for opting to continue with Buhari’s policies and programmes which he said were bad.
The governor said, “I heard about one of the presidential aspirants who said he would continue from Buhari’s good legacies. I want to tell him that if nobody has told him, me I want to tell him that Buhari’s policies and programmes are not good.
“And anybody who is saying that some of us, in our own little way, we will fight him and tell our people to vote against him. So, he has failed ab initio.”
Meanwhile, Veteran musician, Charly Boy has advised Tinubu to drop his presidential ambition for the younger generation, noting that greed does not go with good health.
