Peter Okoye of the music group, Psquare, has revealed that he isn’t afraid to die because he has tasted poverty which he considered to be worse than death.
During an interview on The Nancy Isime show, the singer said: “I’m not afraid of death. The only thing I’m afraid of in this life is poverty. I’ve tasted it before.”
Stressing that death does not scare him the way poverty does, Okoye recalled how his family of eight once lived together in a one-bedroom apartment that got bulldozed.
According to him, a bulldozer came and demolished the apartment in which he lived with his parents when he was a child because they failed to vacate after a quit notice was served on them.
KanyiDaily recalls that Peter Okoye had shared a picture of his dreams’ private jet, saying he plans to own it before he clocks 50 years.
