The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu had told Igbo people that they will continue to be marginalised in Nigeria until they support his presidential ambition.
The former Lagos Governor stated this on Wednesday at the APC presidential campaign rally at Michael Okpara Square in Enugu State.
Tinubu acknowledged that his supporters in Enugu are working hard, but asked them to put more effort to ensure his victory at the 2023 presidential election.
He threatened that unless Igbo people deliver victory to him, he will offer them nothing but “a slight clap or a soaked slice of bread.”
“But nobody will give you any credit, you are working hard, you’re sweating now. We want you to sweat well now for this party until you deliver victory. Until Bola Tinubu becomes the president of Nigeria, we will not give you but a soaked sliced bread,” Tinubu said.
KanyiDaily recalls that his wife, Remi Tinubu was also caught on camera threatening to invoke deities in Lagos to drive the Igbos out of the state and inherit their wealth.
