Abuja Experiences First Rain Of The Year On Election Day

Abuja, the nation’s capital experienced its first rain of the year on Saturday, February 25th.

The first rain coincided with the ongoing general elections currently taking place across Nigeria.

The rain which started some minutes past 4 PM stopped at exactly 4:38 pm

Recall that the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) in January, predicted March 2nd as the beginning of the 2023 rainy season for most parts of the country.

Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has mourned the FCT PDP Chairman, Hon. Sunday Zaka who died in a ghastly car accident.
